My company started out in Victor, NY, a suburb of Rochester, New York as a hobby in 1991 with treasures that I found on the curbside and garage sales. Turning these fine pieces of furniture and antiques back to the beauty and originality caught the attention of family and friends realizing the art and “passion” that I had for wood.

My company offers restoring old finishes, hand stripping and refinishing, veneer repair, re-veneering, reproducing and/or replicating missing pieces, re-gluing and tightening of chairs. In additional to wood refinishing and restoring All About wood also offer many phases of custom residential and commercial woodworking both in shop and on site.
All About Wood is a small company committed to giving each piece of furniture a personal touch and the attention it needs using techniques and products that will make your sentimental heirloom a long lasting treasure. No project is complete until the hardware is cleaned and restored back to its original look. I guarantee this because I do all the work myself.
